This girl's drawing is a submission for Illustration Friday this week. The inspiration comes from my visit to the "Gelar Jepang UI" last week. I saw this cute little girl carrying her umbrella so beautifully. I guess she was an elementary school student. But I made it a little darker (as always).

Which one do you like better?
Nice! I like the top one better, but it almost seems like a night version and a day version. Beautiful contrast of styles.

ReplyDeleteI like them both, but I think I like that you made it a little darker. It would be interesting to see them combined--the screen made dark and then the left side left with its original color? One way or the other, it's a very nice illustration!
